Bubble Swim School was founded in Las Vegas over thirty years ago by Peggy Burger. She established her school based on the belief that children learn best in the water by gentle techniques. Through years of experience, conferences, and training Peggy developed an effective program that Bubble Swim School uses today.
In the spring of 2000, Chris and Julie Meservey became the new owners of Bubble Swim School. Combined, they have over twenty years of teaching and coaching experience in secondary education. As a family based business they have continued Bubble Swim School traditions that have served Las Vegas so well.
Chris was a competitive swimmer in high school and college. He then continued his love of the sport by coaching swimming at Bonanza High School and now currently at Arbor View High School. Chris loves working with the youth in the water. His formula is:
proper technique + hard work + fun = successful swimmer.
Julie swam in high school and enjoys swimming for recreation and exercise. She loves to watch her four children participate and compete in the water. Julie’s interest is teaching toddlers and infants. She is certified in the USSA Infant Toddler Course and has her WSI with the American Red Cross. She believes valuable life lessons of self-confidence, courage, and discipline are learned in the water. Julie believes the water provides an excellent developmental and bonding experience for infants and toddlers with their parents.
Our family has personally grown from our own aquatic experiences. Our hope is to share the love of the water with you and your family which begins with water safety instruction.
