Greetings! I'm Coach Perkins and my main goal for Bubble Swim School is to maintain the proud tradition that was build by the original owner Peggy Burger, then later Chris and Julie Meservey, and add my knowlwege and experience to ensure that everyone in Las Vegas learns how to swim, or least can save themselves should they accidently fall into a body of water. My Swimming Educational Goals are to build a competitive swim and health related program of national quality in Las Vegas, one that helps young athletes achieve athletic & academic goals. Also it is a personal goal to create an accessible survival & safety swimming educational program that has an immediate, real, & positive impact on all of the citizens of Las Vegas. As a special education teacher, I have a strong commitment to bringing all aspects of aquatics, as well as art to children with special needs. I have coached and taught swimming all over the world: Arlington Swim Club (Texas) Arlington Independent School District High (Texas) Szczecinski Swimming (Poland) City of North Las Vegas Summer Teams (Nevada) Mojave HS (Nevada) *** Regional HIGH SCHOOL COACH OF THE YEAR 2007 *** Legacy HS (Nevada) My Accomplishments as a swimmer: Three-time All American high school swimmer at Churchill HS & Alamo Heights HS in San Antonio, Texas (1971, 1972) Seven time Texas South West Regional Champion, 1970, 1971, 1972, Texas State Champion, 1971 Two-time NCAA Conference Champion, 1975 NCAA & AAU National Qualifier 1975
