BSS History

Bubble Swim School was founded in Las Vegas over forty years ago by Peggy Burger. She established her school based on the belief that children learn best in the water through gentle techniques. Through years of experience, conferences, and training, Peggy developed an effective program that Bubble Swim School uses today.

In 2001, Chris and Julie Meservey became the new owners of Bubble Swim School. Combined, we had over twenty years of teaching and coaching experience in secondary education. As a family based business they continued the Bubble Swim School traditions that have served Las Vegas so well for so many years.

The summer of 2009 brought in David Perkins as the new owner, a three-time All-American swimmer and high school swim coach who wished to uphold the tradition of Bubble as an excellent swim school, and to develop the competitive and therapy offerings of the pool.

Anyone who has experienced Bubble actually becomes part of a special family; a family that learns to excel their ability in the water as well as develop a personal relationship with it.

Our hope, forty years ago and now, is to share the love we have of the water with you and your family so that you, too, may experience the joy of moving through this other world.
